There are so many words that can be used to describe Kim. Start with the different titles she has - Author of a novel with her daughter, author of Oregon travel books, magazine writer, memoirist, essayist, teacher, student, owner of a boutique publishing company, magazine editor. Then add in the personal roles she fills - she is a wife, a mom, active in the local business and creative community in roles that don't have titles. In our hour long conversation, I also come to find out how all of those roles have strengthened her family ties, and best of all, we get to laugh together over the craziness that is life as a creative, a business owner, a wife, and a mom.
