There are so many words that can be used to describe Kim. Start with the different titles she has - Author of a novel with her daughter, author of Oregon travel books, magazine writer, memoirist, essayist, teacher, student, owner of a boutique publishing company, magazine editor. Then add in the personal roles she fills - she is a wife, a mom, active in the local business and creative community in roles that don't have titles. In our hour long conversation, I also come to find out how all of those roles have strengthened her family ties, and best of all, we get to laugh together over the craziness that is life as a creative, a business owner, a wife, and a mom. We discuss joy, despair, grief, love, family and business. Kim is the quintessential example of what The Call To Create is all about - she has made a laugh around her passion for writing, and it the art form she uses to express her love of her family, her love of Oregon, and the joys and sorrows of a life being fully lived. Come along on this conversation. Be inspired, be touched. Laugh with us and get to know this amazing person.
